Top Five Classic Simpsons Songs

Having grown up in the 1990’s, watching The Simpsons was a pivotal part of my daily life as a kid. I would race to finish (or pretend to finish) my homework by five o'clock in order to watch Simpsons reruns. The internet had not yet solidified itself as a primary source of entertainment; my access to debauchery was limited to television shows and R-rated movies. As an adult, I’ve re-watched all of the classic Simpsons episodes and laughed my ass off harder than I did as a kid. I’ve also discovered that their songs are not only impeccably well written, but uproariously funny. What’s more is that after all these years, I still remember most of the words. The most difficult aspect of putting this piece together was narrowing the list down to five, so I have included some honourable mentions at the end of the article.
