#4. Amendment to Be

A parody of an actual series of American PSA’s in the 1970’s, “Amendment to Be” tells the story of a potential constitutional amendment who is determined to make those dirty flag burning hippies pay for exercising their liberties. The child in the video happily comes to the conclusion that if we allow changes to the constitution we can “make all sorts of crazy laws!” The song concludes with the amendment finding out he’s been ratified and storming the congress building with all of his amendment buddies while they hoot, holler and shoot guns into the air.

Best Line

“There’s a lot of flag burners who have got too much freedom/ I want to make it legal for policemen to beat ‘em”
