After Bart vandalizes a house he believes belongs to a witch, he goes back to work off the debt and discovers that his new employer is not a witch, but the owner of a burlesque house called Maison Derriere. Marge is outraged to see that the town has allowed a business like this to exist and campaigns to have the burlesque house destroyed. An angry mob storms the ground of the burlesque house determined to destroy it. Shortly thereafter Homer breaks into a song about the benefits of having a burlesque house. Grandpa Simpson points out that “without it we’d have had no fun since March of 1961” and Mayor Quimby recollects how he met his wife while she was working at the burlesque house. Marge returns with a backhoe only to find out that the town has changed its mind, but she accidentally leaves the backhoe in gear and it crashes into the burlesque house.
